Fast Forward to May 2021

I won't take space giving you all sorts of reasons for six months of blog silence but will try again to bring you weaving group news as it happens. Relevent posts may also appear on facebook pages for Marlborough Weavers and Creative Fibre Marlborough so it is well worth keep an eye on those places as well.

Today we had a good turnout for a wet and cold Monday, with ten members participating as well as two very well-behaved children and one very new baby.
This is Mara, only a few weeks old and already showing her ability as a model. She is showing off a blanket woven by our late friend June McKenzie, finished beautifully for her by Joan McLauchlan.

The topic for the day was honeycomb and there were literally dozens of books and samples to be pored over.

We were blessed by a massive gift of really good books for our library from the Estate of Judy Bool who we miss very much.

Show and Tell photos to come in a few days so watch this space.
