Cotton scarf, which I had hoped to be at least 150cm in weaving length, but turned out to be about 110cm after I underestimated (grossly) the loom waste on a borrowed loom. Ouch. Unfortunately this is a familiar problem of mine. Ergo, the Lilliputian Shawl (or cat/dog scarf). It was part of the Pics to Picks Design Challenge, in which Rose Pelvin and I took part. Yes I think I've seen them all now Meg. What a variety. I'm sure you didn't know what you were starting! And I hadn't thought of myself as a stirrer before. That was a surprise too!
Saw this scarf in the flesh today, and no way is it a dog [scarf]. It is simply gorgeous - rich in colour and technique, with a multitude of ways to wear it, other than multiple times around the neck or the sooo popular doubled and threaded thru style [sooo passee !]
Chris, Weiner Dog length! But it was fun trying out different ways of wearing it, indeed.
